Gilbert Angel Gutierrez. I feel a deep connection with my last name but not so much the first and middle.

How far away do you live from where you were born?

Born in San Jose and raised here in Gilroy, CA.

How did you end up living in the city / town you live in?

This is my hometown…left a few times but always ended up back here.

What keeps you living in the city / town you live in?

Definitely my family and friends.

Would you change anything about your upbringing? 

I don’t think I would change a single thing.

Do you feel like an adult? What changed in you from youth to adulthood?

I always assumed there would be this huge transition from adolescent to adult, but you wake up one day and you’re almost 40! lol.

When you look in the mirror, what do you tend to focus on about your appearance?

Hygiene, I may not be the most attractive person, but I know I’m well cleaned and groomed.

If you could change something about your physical being, what would it be?

I would love to be a little but taller.

What do you tend to notice in strangers?

Nowadays everyone is so self-involved that they don’t realize how much they are missing.

What do you think strangers notice about you?

My personality doesn’t match my appearance.

What do think those that know you say about you?

I hope good things, but I’ve been proven wrong before.

What would you hope they would say?

That they are happy to know me and be my friend.

What do you hope never changes about yourself?

My work ethic.

When was the last time you cried?

Sad to say but I can’t remember the last time I cried.

When was the last time you made an adult cry?

Probably the last time my mother and I had an argument. ☹

Definitely my father.

I don’t think people would want to follow my example.

I do my best to keep work and home life separate.
